We're just over a week away from the release of Drake's sophomore LP Take Care, but the T-dot rapper is already eyeing his next project, a collaborative mixtape with Rick Ross tentatively titled Y.O.L.O.

An interview with XXL revealed that October's Very Own has been prepping the set and working on beats and rhymes in anticipation for the collaboration. Considering Ross's recent health scare, though, it's unclear just when the project will drop.

"I have been working on a mixtape with Ross," Drake explained. "A mixtape called Y.O.L.O. [That means] 'You Only Live Once.' I've been working on that for the last couple of weeks. We haven't really connected because he's been going through this thing with his health. I've been stashing my little beats and verses."

While the timeline has yet been set for the collab, fans can take solace in both rappers popping up on each other's albums in the upcoming months. As previously reported, Ricky Rozay appears on Take Care's recently premiered "Lord Knows," while Drizzy said he returns the favour on Ross's long-delayed God Forgives, I Don't.

But if all this tag-team news has you amped for that upcoming Drake/Lil Wayne album, we've got some bad news for you. Drake went on to add that that collection has been halted for the time being. Dang.

As previously reported, Take Care comes out November 15 via Young Money/Cash Money/Universal.
