Halloween is just around the corner, so hopefully you've already got a good costume in mind. There are plenty of musician-inspired options this year, such as VMA-style Miley Cyrus or the Daft Punk robots. But if you still need some inspiration as October 31 approaches, you might benefit from checking out some of the shows listed in this October 24-30 edition of our Can't Miss Concerts series. Drake will be performing to his hometown crowd on his birthday at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on October 24. Opener Future is now back on the tour, along with Miguel, and you can expect an inspired performance from the resident birthday boy.

Frank Turner

English songwriter Frank Turner brings his folk-punk act across the pond for a pair of Canadian dates. Turner will be supported by his Sleeping Souls backing band for upcoming shows in Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

The Grapes of Wrath

Back in March, Kelowna, BC band the Grapes of Wrath released High Road, their first album to feature all three original members in over 20 years. The band have now scheduled a fall tour of Western Canada, featuring Alberta stops in Edmonton, Fort McMurray and Hinton.

Having just released their highly anticipated debut album Days Are Gone, California sister trio HAIM have set out on a worldwide tour. They hit Vancouver on October 24 for a performance at the Commodore Ballroom.

KEN Mode

Fresh off their recent appearance on Forbes, Winnipeg metal outfit and business analysts KEN Mode have embarked on an extensive Canadian tour. Catch them on the East coast toward the end of October.

Lindi Ortega

On October 8, folk songstress Lindi Ortega released Tin Star, her third LP since signing to Last Gang Records. The Tennessee-via-Toronto musician has embarked on a Canadian tour in support of the album, with three upcoming dates in southern Ontario.

Rah Rah

It's been over a year since Regina indie-rockers Rah Rah released The Poet's Dead, but the band have shown no signs of slowing their touring schedule with a handful of east coast dates this week.

Zaki Ibrahim

After being short-listed for the 2013 Polaris Prize for Every Opposite, South African-Canadian musician Zaki Ibrahim will bring her soulful blend of R&B and jazz to Toronto's Adelaide Hall on October 25.
