He "got more slaps than the Beatles," after all

Tattoo: Word On Road

Drake's past few years of music-making have seen him handily eclipsing chart records previously held by the Beatles, and he's now immortalized said successes with a new tattoo of himself and the beloved group.

Popular Drake fansite Word On Road points out that Drake has inked the Fab Four's iconic Abbey Road street crossing on his forearm, with one minor modification: he is positioned at the front of the line in front of John Lennon, and appears to be waving backwards at the band.
As the site notes, Drake had already immortalized the achievement in song. He raps on Meek Mill's 2018 single "Going Bad," "Back home smoking legal / I got more slaps than the Beatles."

Last year, Drake beat out the Beatles for the most Top 10 songs in a single year. This year, he passed the group for the second most top 10 singles in history, sitting only behind Madonna.

Drake recently delivered singles compilation Care Package, held a star-studded OVO Fest, and got after local politicians about some slow wi-fi.

The 50th anniversary of the Beatles' Abbey Road is set to be celebrated with an expanded box set reissue later this year.
