Drake Dropping New Song on Grammy Night

Drake Dropping New Song on Grammy Night
Canadian rap star Drake is up for three Grammys at this year's awards show on February 10, but October's Very Own will celebrate some new music as well, as he'll be dropping a new single the same night.

Representatives from Universal Music confirmed with Billboard that Drake will indeed deliver a track from his forthcoming third LP on Grammy night, though they didn't verify what it's actually called. Rumours have pegged the song's name as either "The Start From the Bottom" or "Started From the Bottom."

Earlier this month, Drizzy was at home in Toronto shooting a video for the song with director Little X. You can see some paparazzi-styled shots of the all-white-adorned spitter riding in a convertible courtesy of fan site Word On the Road over here. It's unclear at this point whether the video will arrive on February 10, or if it'll be premiered at a later date. We'll just have to wait and see.

As for the Grammys, Drake is in the running for Best Rap Album for Take Care, Best Rap Performance for the album's "HYFR", and for Best Rap Song for "The Motto." You can see the rest of the nominees here.
