Well, here's a straight-up bummer: Drake has delayed his wildly anticipated Nothing Was the Same. But it's not as bad as you might think. Instead of the album arriving on the initially scheduled date of September 17, you can expect Drizzy to drop his latest a week later on September 24.

As Nah Right reports, online listings at big-box retailers like Best Buy and Amazon now list the new date of September 24. However, it should be noted that on Amazon.ca, the album isn't even listed yet.

However, if waiting just a little bit longer for Nothing Was the Same has got you down, you can take comfort in the fact that Drake will perform at the VMAs on Sunday (August 25). This morning (August 21), Drake tweeted, "Excited to announce I'll be performing at the 2013 @MTV VMA's!!! #Brooklyn #OVO #Started #NeedAKawsTrophy."
