Dragonette Announce North American Tour, Unveil New "Let It Go" Video

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 2, 2012

Dragonette are still finalizing the details on the full-length follow-up to 2009's Fixin to Thrill, but the Toronto dance pop trio have just announced some upcoming tour dates.

The band will be headlining a U.S. tour with New York electro popsters the Knocks that kicks off in September, but also have some Canadian dates planned for the summer. After a one-off show in California for Live 105's Big Fucking Day, Dragonette will be making appearances on home soil at festivals like Vancouver's Summer Playland and Regina's Summer Invasion.

The group have also unveiled their new video for the single "Let It Go," which we first heard back in March. The Drew Lightfoot-directed clip makes the psychiatric ward look fun and was described by frontwoman Martina Sorbara with the following statement: "These weirdos think you need help keeping your thoughts light and your mind vacant. We think you should 'Let It Go.'"
