The members of shadowy trio DOOMSQUAD will be joining the lineup of Fucked Up on tour later this spring, making a nine-piece ensemble that will play material from the latter band's Zodiac series. But in addition to helping out their peers, DOOMSQUAD also have some new music of their own on the way. Their Pageantry Suite will be released through Hand Drawn Dracula/Bella Union.
The EP will arrive digitally on May 19, with a limited run on turquoise vinyl to follow on June 16. It's a collaboration between the DOOMSQUAD siblings (Trevor, Jaclyn, and Allie Blumas) and visual artist Chris Boni.
According to a press release, "This EP offers a call and response between its musical content — a two-part dance suite and a bonus track — and its visual content: the album cover and the suite's two accompanying videos."
