After releasing their previous three albums on Pittsburgh’s Get Hip label, this Montana-based psychedelic quintet have self-released their newest record through their own Career imprint, along with the help of co-owner Deniz Tek (of Radio Birdman fame). The band, for those unfamiliar, is one of the unsung modern psych bands in the U.S. Led by guitarist and vocalist Ron Sanchez, they offer up 12 new songs that highlight a tight band that know how to execute a well-written song. Deniz Tek fans will want to know that he makes guest appearances on two of the album’s tracks, making more of a distinctive mark on the first, the punchy "All Fall Down.” These fellows make great modern psych and fans of bands such as the Bevis Frond should be able to appreciate this.
