Domine Dragonlord (Tales of the Noble Steel)

Another power metal band railing away about dragons and swords. Domine come flying at us (on the wings of some huge and obscure animal, of course) with 57 minutes of epic metal, flamboyant and overly dramatic. Well sung, melodic tunes capable of sounding good at any tempo, and silly Dungeons and Dragons-inspired lyrics are great for a laugh, but enough is enough. This genre is really overdone and I wish people would give up and let Manowar and Blind Guardian take care of the proverbial battle at hand. Domine do it as good as any other, but point is, it has been done and the novelty of it has worn off. (Metal Blade)
