Strange name, yes, but check out their website and you’ll get the picture. Using hip and of course, offensive visual art to represent their message, the music this mysterious two-man British production team construct isn’t exactly on par with pervy acts like Spank Rock or Blowfly. Self-described as "two blokes... not gay, with various computers and old synths,” just one look at their top MySpace friends is enough to guess what their intentions are: blaring, jacked-up house tasered with electro shocks. Sharing the same club frenzying vision with everyone from Daft Punk to Justice to SebastiAn, DIOY,Y? are relentlessly entertaining, as this cut demonstrates. Shame though that they don’t drop any quotes from the song’s John Hughes namesake film. Be sure to also check out their rad XFM mix here.
