D.O.A. Announce "True North Strong & Free Tour"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 10, 2014

It should be pretty clear by now that D.O.A.'s "final concert" wasn't the career close-out the band had anticipated. Case in point, the Vancouver punk icons are gearing up for yet another Canadian tour.

Joey "Shithead" Keithley and the rest of his long-running crew of road warriors have revealed they'll be heading out to Windsor at the beginning of October for a trip that hits up various venues in Ontario and Quebec. On the docket later that month is a short stretch of shows around Alberta and BC. Though details have yet to be delivered, Keithley told Exclaim! that more dates will be added shortly.

You can check out the schedule for the trek, dubbed the "True North Strong & Free Tour," as is down below. For the purposes of full disclosure, the tour is co-presented by Exclaim!

Since the intended January 2013 finale at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre, D.O.A. announced plans for their To Hell and Back concert film, reissued the Bloodied but Unbowed compilation and War on 45, released their Welcome to Chinatown live LP and undertook more tour dates.
