Following the Beta Band's break-up, former member Josh MacLean has set his sights on making movies. His first feature is titled Slow West, and in addition to nabbing Michael Fassbender as leading man, he's enlisted Jed Kurzel to score the film.
The film's title track, however, arrives via none other than London-based art-rock unit Django Django. A far cry from their most recent LP Born Under Saturn, "Slow West" is an acoustic instrumental piece, propelled by plucky riffs and galloping horse hooves.
