Published Jun 09, 2010The sequel to the original DJ Hero, which brought the technology of Guitar Hero to electronic and hip-hop fans everywhere, is set to drop later this fall, with Dr. Dre, the Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Metallica, Lady Gaga and a whole slew of other artists all contributing songs to the game's playlist. On top of that, Toronto, ON DJ Deadmau5 is featured as a playable character.
As tech website T3 reports, DJ Hero 2 will come with not one, but two turntables and, ahem, a microphone. The added peripherals will facilitate multiplayer DJ battles, as well as a "jump in, jump out" mode that allows players to join play whenever they please.
The microphone will allow you to rap your heart out, or, if you're no MC, at least call out things like, "Are you feeling this, (insert city of residence here)?!"
The game will include 70 new tracks from the aforementioned artists, with a mash-up of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" and Deadmau5's "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" available now for owners of the first DJ Hero.
DJ Hero 2 should launch in fall 2010, according the official website, and will be available for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
