Early this year, Chicago footwork crew Teklife launched their own imprint, Teklife Records, celebrating the work of the late DJ Rashad with Afterlife. Now the new imprint is turning its to attention to the collective's DJ Earl.
Come August 19, the longtime Rashad collaborator will release his new full-length Open Your Eyes on Teklife Records. As you'll see from the tracklist below, the record comes with its fair share of guests, including Oneohtrix Point Never, DJ Manny, DJ Taye, Taso and MoonDoctor.
In addition to be featured on three tracks, OPN also mixed the entire album, with a press release stating he "worked closely with DJ Earl on this project," which took two years to complete.
While no tracks from the album have surfaced yet, you can also see the album's cover art above. It was designed by OBEY founder Shepard Fairey.
