DJ Shub and Chali 2na have announced plans to tour Canada's western provinces this spring.
In May, the Jurassic 5 MC and the award-winning DJ and producer formerly of a Tribe Called Red will play nine dates together, with Shub backing Chali on the decks for an evening of "solo hits and beloved Jurassic 5 classics," per a release.
That release notes how the two artists first performed together in 2017 as part of a Winnipeg Folk Festival workshop. Now, the two return to that city, as well as Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon, and smaller locales like Banff, Fernie and Kelowna.
"For me, backing up Chali 2na on tour is mind-blowing considering I’ve been a long-time fan," DJ Shub shares in a statement. "Magic happens when legends join forces.”
