Last month, Disney artist and theme park designer John Ramirez had us salivating over his proposal for a My Neighbor Totoro theme park. Now that we've finally gotten over than potential Studio Ghibli creation, Ramirez has decided to take on Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
Like every other Hayao Miyazaki film, 1986's Castle in the Sky is perfectly suited to be a wonderful theme park attraction. Ramirez's mock-up manages to capture the spirit of the original film in a wonderful way.
When he first debuted his Totoro map, Ramirez told Kotaku that he would keep bugging Miyazaki to build his Ghibli-themed rides "until they bar me from the studio or until he says yes!"
Check out the mind-blowing Castle in the Sky attraction below.
