Dischord to Reissue Out-of-print Records from Hoover, Ignition and Slant 6

In an effort to keep collector scum from making a mint on eBay, the good folks at seminal Washington, DC imprint Dischord Records have been working hard to reissue many of their old records. Some of these releases return out of sheer demand, while others make their way back into stores thanks to random warehouse discoveries. Because of the latter, the label has three obscure releases returning to stores this month.

Those three records are The Lurid Traversal of Route seven-inch from early '90s band Hoover, The Orafying Mysticle Of..." twelve-inch from late '80s punks Ignition and the What Kind of Monster Are You seven-inch from mid-'90s rockers Slant 6. According to Dischord staff, the records have been remixed and repressed after "several boxes of empty sleeves" were discovered in the label's warehouse.

All three releases will be available on August 16. For a complete list of Dischord reissues, head here.
