Dirty Beaches Unveils North American Tour, Plays Montreal and Vancouver

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 29, 2011

It's been a busy day for roaming pop-noir songwriter Dirty Beaches. Not only did he release his Exclaim!-recommended Badlands via Zoo Music and roll out a video for the track "Lord Knows Best," but the musician also known as Alex Zhang Hungtai has now announced a North American tour in support of the new LP.

The bulk of the dates are in the U.S., as he will be going from coast-to-coast between April and May. Along the way, he will play a Canadian date in Montreal on May 16. Before the tour begins, Dirty Beaches is slated to play a one-off show in Vancouver. He will be opening for Jeans Wilder at the Waldorf.
