Last month, Dirty Beaches performer Alex Zhang Huntai promised that a new instrumental LP called STATELESS was on the horizon. Now, he's shared a trailer for the LP.
The three-and-a-half-minute clip features a slowly building ambient track. Throughout its playing time, a subtle melody emerges, but mostly the track features some gentle, droning ambience.
It works wonders with the accompanying visuals. Shot by the artist himself, the video includes shots from a ferry, a motorcycle and of a cityscape at night. It'd be nice if we could watch a whole album's worth of visuals with the instrumental sounds.
