At the time of his tragic death, Ronnie James Dio had been planning to launch a record label, Niji Entertainment Group, with wife Wendy. Now, Wendy Dio has announced she'll be running the imprint on her own.

Niji's first release is a double-disc live album containing two sets from Dio's solo band in the UK. The first disc contains their debut performance in 1983, followed by a return in 1987 on disc two. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Wendy describes the '83 group as "a new, young band coming out of the box" and the '87 edition as a "more seasoned band."

Niji will release Dio at Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987 just in time for Christmas on November 9. On top of the record label, Wendy Dio is currently shopping RJD's memoirs to different publishing houses. "It's actually [intended as] a three-book deal - the memoirs of Ronnie, a book of illustrated lyrics and a photo book," she explained.
