Anders Rhedin has been making music under the name Dinner for a couple of years, and now the Copenhagen-bred musician — currently based out of Berlin and Los Angeles — has signed with Captured Tracks. To celebrate the occasion, he has released a music video for his track "Girl."
The song is a woozy, swooning pop number, with its shimmering strums and swirling synths joined by impossibly deep crooning. The accompanying visuals are similarly peculiar, as we see a goofy, awkward DIY performance featuring a keyboardist in a wig and a guitarist with a cowboy hat.
In September, Dinner will give his EP Oui! a limited physical release via Red Eye Transit. He's currently working on his debut album for Captured Tracks in Los Angeles.
