Dingees

Moderate conspiracy theory fans from California, the Dingees are out to expose their brand of ska punk to the world. This is the third record from this quintet, which formed in 1996. Heavily influenced by Operation Ivy and Rancid, though lacking the intensity of those bands, this is nonetheless a decent bunch of songs. They're smart enough to use their horns sparingly; something more bands in this genre would be wise to do, and the organ also adds a nice touch. The songs run from speedy punk to old time reggae and they pull it all off with style.
