Twice a year, Toronto indie label Dine Alone Records releases a free sampler. Right on cue, the company has rolled out its 26-track Dine Alone 2014 Winter Sampler. This is being released for the label's 10th anniversary.
The album features contributions from lots of members of the Dine Alone Records roster, including K-os, Tokyo Police Club, You+Me (a.k.a. Dallas Green and Pink), Arkells, the Dodos, High Ends, Lucius, Shovels & Rope, the Wytches, Spencer Burton, Delta Spirit and many more.
Interestingly, the sampler ends with an unlabelled hidden track, containing what an announcement calls a "familiar voice." Stream it below and see if you recognize it. Alternately, the sampler can be downloaded here in exchange for an email address.
