Dilated Peoples are about to end an eight-year drought with the unveiling of their next LP, Directors of Photography, though the trio are previewing the set with a dusty new video for its dirt-nasty "Good As Gone."
Set in a desert landscape, the video has Evidence, Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu holding court in steel-sculpture surrounded junkyards, decrepit shacks and more. Following a few solo verses and some time spent shooting off spray paint into the sky, Evidence and Rakaa Iriscience pump out some tag team bars atop the track's filthy and frightening arrangement of bombastic boom-bap beats and distortion slathered soul guitar licks.
