Published Feb 24, 2009Sean "Diddy" Combs has announced that he's returning to rap music with the release of his sixth album. Titled Last Train To Paris, the album will be out on September 22 and feature the Bad Boy mogul exploring new ground with an "electro hip-hop" sound.
In an interview with MTV News, Diddy revealed that the release is a concept album about catching a train in Paris. "I'm ushering in a new movement called 'train music,'" he said. "Last Train To Paris is deeper than any of the other stuff I have ever made. It's a profound love story. It's me with my shades off. It's the truth. I've been a businessman for the past two years. It's time for me to focus on being an artist again. I am going to show the world a new, refreshing side of me."
He then elaborated on the album's story arc, revealing that it's a "tumultuous love roller-coaster relationship" that sends Diddy chasing his one true love through Europe. Is it just me or does this sound strikingly similar to the plot of Mr. Bean's Holiday?
