Diarrhea Planet Take 'Turn to Gold' on North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 13, 2016

If you're a fan of scatologically titled Nashville sextet Diarrhea Planet, get ready to dump your drawers: the band have announced a new round of tour dates to support their just-issued LP, Turn to Gold.

While the act had done some travelling around North America earlier in the spring, this will mark the first full round of touring behind Turn to Gold, which was released last Friday (June 10) via Dine Alone/Infinity Cat. While a hometown gig at Nashville's Elliston Place Street Festival takes place at the end of July, the day-to-day tour officially kicks off in August.

As you'll see in the itinerary down below, the band will be making it into Canada for shows in Vancouver and Toronto, though it's added that even more dates are on the horizon.

As previously reported, Turn to Gold is Diarrhea Planet's third full-length release. It was engineered by Lance Powell (Jack White, Insane Clown Posse) and co-produced with Mike Fahey. You can read Exclaim!'s review of the record over here.
