Up-and-coming Toronto electronic pop outfit DIANA are gearing up to release their debut album Perpetual Surrender via Paper Bag Records/Jagjaguwar on August 20. Now, they've shared a batch of tour dates and a new video from the project.
The run of shows includes DIANA's previously announced American run with Austra. Now, they've added two Canadian stops, headlining shows at Montreal's La Sala Rossa on September 25 and Toronto's Great Hall on September 26. Check out the full run of DIANA tour dates below.
In addition to announcing the tour dates, DIANA have shared the video for album title track "Perpetual Surrender." In a press release, director Jesse Yules described the clip's iconic images of frontwoman Carmen Elle.
"I used images with a strong, singular light source, that cast a shadow on one side of the figure," Yules said. "I tried to illustrate the idea of a personality with different sides, by mirroring and animating the lit side of the portrait, then contrasting that by mirroring the shadow side of the portrait."

The song has also got the remix treatment from Four Tet, whose rework will appear on the B-side to a 12-inch single version of the song that will ship with deluxe preorders of the album.
