Diamond Rings Unveils 'Something Else Remix EP'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 12, 2011

Having won over pop fans with last year's outstanding LP Special Affections, Toronto sensation Diamond Rings (aka John O'Regan) has switched his focus to the dance floor. Hot on the heels of his Remix Rainbow series, he has now unveiled the new Something Else Remix EP.

As the title suggests, this five-track collection contains several different versions of guitar-laden single "Something Else." In addition to the album version from Special Affections, there are four remixes. Contributing to this EP are Cadence Weapon, Mike Gloria, Disco Fries and Dark Intensity.

This digital-only collection came out today (July 12) on Astralwerks, the label that recently signed O'Regan to a U.S. deal. You can purchase the EP over at the label's website.

In September and October, Diamond Rings will travel around North America with Twin Shadow on their "Clean Cuts Tour." See the schedule here.
