Blood Orange's Devonté Hynes has lined up a performance with Adam Tendler and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (who are celebrating their centennial season) at Roy Thomson Hall on May 18, 2023.

The unique bill — which will follow a similar presentation with the London Symphony Orchestra in March — is said to showcase "contemporary classical music that confronts the complexities of the 21st Century identity."

"I'm incredibly honoured and I hope you can be there," Hynes said of the performance in an Instagram post.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, October 21 at 10 a.m. ET here. See Hynes's announcement below.
