Details Emerge for Nirvana's 'In Utero' Deluxe Reissue

Earlier this month, we learned that the Nirvana camp was planning a deluxe reissue of the band's 1993 classic In Utero to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Now, more details have emerged about the release.

According to a press sheet, the re-release will contain over 70 tracks. Those include the remastered album recordings, along with B-sides, unheard demos, compilation tracks, live recordings and more.

The live recordings on the release include the band's "Live and Loud" concert, which happened on December 13, 1993, at Pier 48 in Seattle. That, along with other live footage, will also be available as a standalone DVD.

While there will be a digital/CD remaster of the original album as a standalone package, all these extras will figure into the "Super Deluxe Edition," which includes three CDs and the DVD. There will also be a single-disc DVD release of the complete "Live and Loud" show.

Universal will issue In Utero on September 24. The barebones album art is available above.
