With the summer festival season getting into full swing, the fourth annual SappyFest has announced this year's initial line-up. On deck to descend on Sackville, NB from July 31 to August 2 are such Can-rock heavyweights as Destroyer, Ladyhawk, Wintersleep, Women and, of course, Rick White, Julie Doiron and their Eric's Trip, plus tons more.

Early bird weekend passes have already gone on sale and can be yours for the price of $50, but only until June 19. You can get more info on that here.

Along with the musical festivities, SappyFest, now a registered non-profit, will run alongside the Struts Gallery Ok.Quoi?!, an interdisciplinary arts festival that will hold a variety of screenings, performances, exhibitions and audio presentations at various venues throughout Sackville. Also, this year the event will feature a zine and craft fair that will showcase wares from an assortment of independent artists.
