Though the Pro Era last united in full for 2014's mini-release The Shift, the Beast Coast crew have still been busy grinding out music on their own in 2015. Following recent tunes from NYCk Caution, Kirk Knight and Joey Bada$$, Dessy Hinds has served up a solo single called "Homecoming."
The track has been given a gleefully soul-spinning beat from Statik Selektah, who pitchshifts a sample a couple notches north of regular for an extra optimistic feel. Hinds, meanwhile, laces his bars with plenty of PMA, sending out respect to his mom, the Pro Era crew and the Good Book as he details a blessed life of making it the rap biz. As he notes, "it's on for life."
