Despite Stolen Skull, Dan Deacon to Return to Toronto on Comedy Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 25, 2010

When lovable electro whiz Dan Deacon came through Toronto earlier this month, he didn't have a good experience. Not only were his tires slashed, but the green skull that he has used as a stage prop for years was stolen. Deacon vowed not to come back to Toronto unless the skull was returned, but it appears he's already had a change of heart. In November, Deacon and his Baltimore art collective Wham City will be heading out on a comedy tour that includes a show at Toronto's Double Double Land.

The tour will be focused around the northeastern part of North America, with Toronto being the only Canadian date during the string of shows. Each night will include stand-up, skits, dancing and videos. Based on Wham City's usual output, this comedy tour should come packed full of wacky stuff.

The performances will include musical guests the Creepers and the Ram Ones. For pictures, press materials and videos related to the tour, head here. See the dates below.
