Desire

"Tears From Heaven" (video)

On top of new tracks from modern-day Italo disco favourites Glass Candy and Chromatics, Italians Do It Better's upcoming After Dark 2 compilation showcases some new material from label darlings Desire. "Tears From Heaven" is one of the tracks offered up from Montreal-based chanteuse Megan Louise, IDIB mastermind Johnny Jewel and Nat Walker, and you can check out the track's icy flow in a new video.

Like their clip for "Don't Call," the video features grainy, Super 8 footage of Louise walking about whilst cooing the cut from a number of locales, this time from inside a house, near the water and against a brick wall. There are also some shots of spinning records, cyclists and a birds-eye shot of pirouetting dancers to visually assist the minimalist wash of blippy Moroder synths and melancholic, melodious moans.

Check it all out below.

Unfortunately, there is still no word on when After Dark 2 will finally be released.
