Milo Aukerman, frontman for Southern California pop-punk band Descendents, has reportedly suffered a "minor heart attack."

The band shared the news in a statement posted to Instagram today, announcing that they will be cancelling the upcoming shows they have scheduled in Europe to give their singer time to recover.

Aukerman apparently suffered the cardiac event last night (July 27), but his bandmates have assured fans that he's "doing fine" and is "expected to make a full recovery from surgery."

As of right now, Descendents are slated to begin a North American tour in August. It's yet to be seen whether those dates will also be affected.

We are truly sorry, but we have to cancel the upcoming European shows.

Our singer, Milo, had a mild heart attack last night. He's doing fine, and is expected to make a full recovery from surgery, but will need a few weeks to recover before we can hit the road again.

Hope to see you soon.
