Deradoorian has teamed up with Russian experimental pop artist Kate NV (whose excellent 2020 album Room for the Moon you should absolutely check out if you haven't already) to form Decisive Pink, sharing their debut single "Haffmilch Holiday."
Decisive Pink has origins stretching back to at least 2018, but "Haffmilch Holiday" is their first piece of official recorded music. The single was reportedly inspired by the duo's ritual of ordering haffmilch cappuccinos while they recorded the album in Köln, Germany.
The song itself is a good balance of the pair's individual styles, melding the motorik rhythm of Deradoorian's recent work with the restless playfulness of NV's.
