Denzel Curry Teams with Fucked Up and Bad Brains for Spotify Singles Session

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Jul 31, 2019

Earlier this year, Denzel Curry's cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Bulls on Parade" left us feeling like there was no one better suited to one day lead a large-scale rap-rock revival, and the Florida MC is now exploring the intersection of those genres with help from Fucked Up and Bad Brains.

For the ongoing series, Curry's two-track effort finds him reinterpreting his TA13OO cut "CLOUT COBAIN" with support from the Canadian punks, in addition to covering Bad Brains' 1986 track "I Against I." You can hear both in the player below.

It isn't the first time Curry has teamed up with some talented Canadians. In 2017, he reworked his memetic track "Ultimate" and "Sick and Tired" with BADBADNOTGOOD and Charlotte Day Wilson.

Curry delivered his ZUU album earlier this year. He recently dropped the Tate Kobang-assisted single "Shawshank."
