After releasing one of our favourite EPs last year with 13, Denzel Curry has come roaring back in 2018 with a new single.
Titled "Sumo," the track is the latest look at what's to come from Curry's debut LP Taboo, which is set to arrive this year via Loma Vista. The rapper last shared standalone single "Skywalker."
Curry has been teasing the track and performing it live since October of last year. At that point, the song was set to feature Curry's fellow Floridian Ski Mask the Slump God, though the former revealed that he would not appear on the track in the final days of last year.
Talking Taboo with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio, Curry revealed that he has completed recording vocals for the LP and that it's currently headed to post-production. As for a proper release date, the rapper was mum on what time of the year he had in mind.
Take in "Sumo" and a segment of Curry's chat with Lowe in the players below.
