Deltron 3030

"Melding of the Minds" (ft. Zach de la Rocha)

Deltron 3030 jumps into conceptual rap-rock territory for the latest preview of their sophomore LP Deltron 3030: Event II, the Zach de la Rocha-assisted "Melding of the Minds."

Atop a heavy break and steady power-chord explosions, Del the Funky Homosapien smoothly spits about the disenfranchised people of the future, with mutants and zombies looking for "crack nuggets" in the post-apocalyptic ruins. Rage Against the Machine's de la Rocha occasionally cranks up the energy with his shouted-out flow, though Del still steers the boat on this one.

You can hear it for yourself down below.

As previously reported, Deltron 3030: Event II finally arrives October 1 via Bulk Recordings and includes additional guest work from Damon Albarn, the Lonely Island, Mike Patton, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Wells and more. A North American tour is also scheduled this fall, and includes a Toronto stop on October 16. You'll find the itinerary here.
