Just over two years have passed since anti-Christian quartet Deicide issued their ninth (and modestly underrated) full-length opus, Till Death Do Us Part, an album that saw founder Glen Benton solidifying his musical partnership with former Cannibal Corpse axe slinger Jack Owen.
Looking to hammer that point home with another onslaught of blasphemy, sinister imagery and controversial lyrics, Deicide (completed by guitarist Kevin Quirion and drummer Steve Asheim) have announced the completion of their tenth death metal onslaught, To Hell with God.
Slated for release on February 15 with new label Century Media, To Hell with God boasts ten new tracks and some fancy cover art, viewable above. See the tracklist below.
At that, the album will be supported by a lengthy tour, aptly dubbed "God Is Dead -- To Hell with God," which will commence on the album's release date. The jaunt will also feature Austrian blackened metal brigade Belphegor, two French-Canadian acts in grinders Blackguard and tech wizards Neuraxis, as well as San Diego-based gore-obsessed death metallers Pathology.
