After being involved in a severe car crash last year, Deftones bassist Chi Cheng has been released from intensive care.
As previously reported, Cheng went into a coma following a traffic accident on November 4, with the musician being in "serious but stable condition" during the past several months. This week, though, a post on Oneloveforchi.com informed fans Cheng is on his way to recovery.
"Just wanted to update everyone and let you know that Chi was released from ICU over the weekend and is no longer on any sort of life support," the post reads. "His symptoms continue to improve so keep the prayers coming. They are obviously helping a great deal."
