Deerhunter front-man Bradford Cox has announced his solo debut album under the Atlas Sound moniker will be released on February 19, 2008 through Kranky. Titled Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel, the album will feature 14 tracks, and appears to be new music that has yet to be leaked by Cox in his bid to consistently give away free tracks on the Deerhunter blog, deerhuntertheband.blogspot.com. Cox briefly spoke about the album, saying: "I left Chicago this morning. Now I'm relaxing in Harlem. I spent all yesterday mastering the Atlas Sound record. It sounds really good. I'm really proud."
