Seeing as they've been taking it easy on their blog this year, it should come as no surprise that the proflific Deerhunter are following up last year's Microcastle/Weird Era Cont. double shot with an EP of brand new material.
Titled Rainwater Cassette Exchange, the EP will feature five tracks and come to us digitally on May 18 and on CD and vinyl courtesy of Kranky in North America and 4AD in the rest of the world. Deerhunter recorded the EP in February with producer Nicolas Verhes at Brooklyn's Rare Book Room studios, who also recorded Microcastle.
