Calgary's Sled Island festival has managed to attract plenty of recognizable faces to serve as guest curators over the years. In 2018 it will be no different as veteran art-rock group Deerhoof have signed on to contribute to the fest.
The long-running San Francisco group will have an influence on curating this year's Sled Island lineup, with their picks set to be announced this spring. Further, they'll perform at the festival, headlining the #1 Legion on June 23.
The first wave of Sled Island artists is set to be unveiled in February. The festival will run from June 20 to 24 at various venues across Calgary.
