Deerhoof have been busy this year, dropping The Magic LP and contributing to a Polyvinyl anniversary comp, but they aren't ready to chill out just yet. The experimental indie rockers have announced that a new 7-inch titled I Thought We Were Friends is due out on November 18 via Famous Class.
Featuring the new "Risk Free" and "Delight," the two-track release will arrive on both standard black vinyl and limited-edition green-and-blue marbled vinyl. Right now, you can hear that A-side here on Stereogum.
The pre-order page comes equipped with a message reminding buyers that the latter is limited to two copies per customer because "we do the special coloured vinyl for fun's sake and it's no fun to see it on eBay for $50."
