After a five-year hiatus following their Jubilee LP, the Deep Dark Woods have lifted the curtain on a follow-up effort. Titled Yarrow, the band's new disc arrive October 27 through Six Shooter Records.

Nine tracks in length, Yarrow is said to have "a darker, stranger tenor" in comparison to its predecessor, with frontman Ryan Boldt's songwriting tapping into "a rich vein of gothic surrealism that aligns with some of the great murder balladeers of our time."

The album was produced by Boldt and Shuyler Jansen, and features Western Canada duo Kacy & Clayton.

A taste of what's to come from the disc can be heard with opener "Fallen Leaves," which has arrived via a new video. The band have also mapped out a Canadian tour that will take them across the country throughout October and November. You can find the itinerary below the album's tracklist.
