The Decemberists Prep Live EP for Record Store Day

Record Store Day is still more than a month away, and we've already learned about a load of exciting releases that will be coming exclusively to shops on April 16. The latest is a new EP from bookish Portland folksters the Decemberists.

The seven-song collection is called Live at Bull Moose. Like the title suggests, it was recorded at the Bull Moose music store in Scarborough, ME. Available on CD, it will feature live cuts of several tracks that appeared on this year's The King Is Dead. There will also be a cover of "If I Could Only Win Your Love" by the Louvin Brothers.

The band recently expanded their tour schedule, which includes shows in the U.S. and Europe, but none in Canada. Check out their calendar over at their official website.

Other notable Record Store Day releases this year will include a Flaming Lips box set, a Deftones cover album and a White Flag single.
