Published Sep 14, 2017Polish death metal band Decapitated are in the midst of battling some very serious allegations. As previously reported, all four members of the group are accused of gang-raping a woman on board their tour bus following a concert in Spokane, WA, late last month. Now the band have emerged with a statement about the claims against them.
While Decapitated had previously spoke through their lawyer, the group took to Facebook today (September 14) to issue a statement regarding the charges, asking "everyone please reserve their judgement until a definitive outcome has been reached."
In part, the statement reads:
While we are not perfect human beings, we are not kidnappers, rapists, or criminals. As such, we strongly deny the allegations that have recently been brought against us. We ask that everyone please reserve their judgement until a definitive outcome has been reached, as charges have yet to be pressed. Full testimony and evidence will be presented in due time, and we have faith in that process.
The band also revealed that all concert dates have been cancelled for the time being, adding that "all social media platforms have been temporarily disabled as they have been used as destinations for defamatory and malicious remarks."

Decapitated have been held in Los Angeles County Jail since their arrest on September 8 and are in the process of being extradited back to Spokane following a court hearing on September 12. The extradition can take up to 30 days after the band's court appearance.
