Death Grips Unveil Album Artwork for 'Year of the Snitch'

After revealing last month that a new album titled Year of the Snitch was "coming soon," Death Grips have shared the album's cover art.

Today, the group revealed the artwork you see above, which puts an emphasis on the mouth not unlike the artwork for 2016's Bottomless Pit. Even for a group that have literally put a member's member on an album cover before, this remains just as weird.

As previously reported, Death Grips posted photos of studio sessions for Year of the Snitch with a pair of unlikely collaborators last month. On March 12, the group posted a photo of Andrew Adamson, perhaps known best as the director of Shrek and Shrek 2. A March 15 post found drummer Zach Hill playing alongside Tool bassist Justin Chancellor.

Death Grips last shared the 22-minute "Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)" in 2017. They've also recently found themselves an unlikely celebrity fan.
