CMW

Canadian Music Week is now in full swing, so make sure you don't miss out and end up having to wait another full year until it rolls around again. The last day of the Toronto-wide fest is May 8, and there's certainly no shortage of acts to choose from, as Tegan and Sara, Wild Nothing, TOPS, No Joy, Nao and plenty more will hit the stage in those last few days. For ticketing info and a full list of artists, head to their website at cmw.net/music.

Jason Collett

After abandoning recording for four years, song and dance man Jason Collett is bringing his latest project on tour to his patiently waiting fans. Backed by Toronto rockers Zeus and joined by indie opener Kalle Mattson, grab a ticket and get ready for your heart to grow about three sizes.

English electronic musician/neuroscientist Sam Shepard, a.k.a. Floating Points, has hung up his white coat for the time being in order to bring last year's LP, Elaenia, to his fans in North America. Shepard isn't exactly known for touring, so this week marks a rare opportunity to catch him bringing his cerebral, pointillist compositions to life.

Find him with So There collaborators yMusic, a New York-based chamber ensemble, at one of the two dates listed below.
